Bio of a Socially Awkward Bookworm*

*Disclaimer: This bio may or may not be fictitious. It up to the reader to use discretion in what he or she will or will not believe.
I was born, at a very young age, in the hills of the Ozark Mountains of Missouri–an oddly shaped state, somewhere roughly in the middle of the US. It is an area renowned for its hollers, hillbillies, history, and the rare Cerulean Dragons said to haunt its caves and sinkholes (Please see Disclaimer). It was this that first led me to realize I was a Color Scribe.
Having lived my entire life in such an area, it is natural that I should grow up to be the Socially Awkard person you now see before you. I grew up in the depths of one of those renowned hollers, and I was homeschooled by my hillbilly mother. I went to church with my hillbilly neighbors. I searched the hills and hollers with my Nerdy, Homeschooled, Hillbilly Friends in quest of the aforementioned Cerulean Dragon.
If you too are a Hunter of Cerulean Dragons (and other strange and wonderful things) then you may be a Color Scribe!

You might be a Color Scribe if you love:

  • Jesus.
  • Books.
  • Color.
  • Art.
  • Fantasy and magical tales that have a sense of wonder about them.
  • Mystical, spiritual themes in fiction.
  • Elves (We can’t help if we’re a bit obsessed).
  • Woods, trees, nature
  • The color green.
  • More Books.
  • To think, ponder, wonder, and muse.
  • Creating things! (It could be writing, drawing, singing a song, dancing, making a collage out of fallen leaves, baking a superb cake, knitting a sweater…the possibilities are endless.)
  • Books. Books. Every where books.
  • Fairytales, romance, kids books, or classic literature
  • Retellings of such tales.
  • Laughter
  • Did I mention books?
  • Words and wordplay.
  • A clean but quirky sense of humor.
  • And of course–books.
If so, welcome! I can't wait to find out more about you!
